We were staying in Barcelona and wanted to see a smaller town (Girona); Laura recommended which train to take (and the specific times) and arranged for a driver to take us to Tossa de Mar after our time in Girona. From the time I booked my trip in November until I took my trip in December her communication was terrific (she’s Spanish and her English is perfect) it was a day trip for me from Barcelona. She assured me I was taking the correct train. We met at the Train station and the night before reached out confirming everything and advised me of the weather in Girona. She lives in Girona and knows Girona. She’s a licensed tour guide. She was happy to tailor the tour to my interests. Prior to going to Girona I had no idea what an amazing city this is. It was the perfect combination of getting to know an area without feeling like you’re going for a history test at the end. She was kind, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. Every time we turned a corner and asked a question she knew it. Down to minute details that were so interesting and fun. At the end of our day I wished I had more time with her because she was so lovely. She allowed us to feel more comfortable in a city we knew nothing about. We went to the Dali Museum in Figueres and then back to Girona to visit the old city and roman walls. She is AMAZING! Her tours are engaging, fun, and always include some local flare. My husband does not really enjoy museums but enjoyed the Teatro Museo so much more due to Laura's lively telling of Dali's life, work, and history of the museum. Our whole family loved it, my sons are 11 and 13 and had a great time. We learned so many interesting things. Laura was timely and had great restaurant and additional activity recommendations. Diane Best2023-08-24I cannot say enough positive words regarding our tour with Laura. She is phenomenal. We did a half day tour with Laura. There were 4 of us. Laura met us at our hotel and we walked around giving us the history of the area and pointing out the gaudi homes along with other highlights we would have missed on our own. Then we proceeded to park guell and then Sagrada Família. Laura’s knowledge and excitement and love for her city makes her one of the best tour guides I think in the city. We have had many tour guides throughout our travels and she tops the list.
